No titling throughout clip.
In order to help me to analyse this clip, I have created 3 timelines, visual, audio and titling.
My visual timeline suggests that there are a variety of different shots used within the clip. For example, mid shots. They are designed to show the action in the shot, along with part of the background, like the shot of the man holding the bible in this clip. Because he is using it as a prop, it will be very effective combined with the fact he will be talking about it. Close up shots are also used
to allow the audience to focus on the main action. For example, in the close up shot of the gun, there are also bullets. The shot has been designed to emphasise the point and the evidence given in the court. There are also two establishing shots within the clip. They are designed to show a new scene beginning and to set the scene. The last shot in the part that I am analysing is my favourite
throughout the clip. It is a high angle extreme long over the shoulder shot of Shawshank prison. This shot could also be seen as an establishing shot and as the shoulder shot is of a guard/soldier, I believe the shot has been designed to show the authority the guards/soldiers have over the prisoners.
Throughout the clip, the main audio comes from the tension building music and from the
speech. The main speech comes from the judge which is in depth. This could also act as an expert in the clip as they are shown to have authority.
There is no titling within this clip.
