Risk Assessment.
My risk assessment will give details of any potential hazards I may have when filming, in order to protect me and my actors.
Hazard - Kitchen Knife.
On the third scene, I will be using a kitchen knife. If mis-used the knife could cause serious damage to anyone around.
One actor will be holding the knife and will approach the other actor in the shot with it. When I am filming these shots, I only plan for the two actors along with myself to be within the filming area. By only having the necessary people on location, this will decrease chances of something happening. I will also be briefing my two actors before we shoot the scene so that they realise the potential harm.
