Filming Diary for Day 2.
Today I prepared to film scenes in our Sixth Form common room, that I had re-arranged to look as much like a lounge as possible. Again I was very fortunate that the common room was empty today as usually there would be people sitting and chatting or doing work during their free lessons.
I had originally planned to film the scenes in the common room kitchen on a separate day. However as the common room kitchen was free, it made sense to get it done and out of the way all at once. This made filming easier for me as I didn’t need to worry so much about continuity from two days of filming. For example, making sure my actors were dressed the same and had the same hair styles, and ensuring the furniture in the common room remained in the same place.
Filming also went very smoothly today and I managed to get some good footage. Thank you to my actors for your cooperation.
